How to Evaluate the Jump

Explore the Jump Feature By Feature 

    Use The Template Cheat Sheet as a quick reference guide to help you
        explore the Jump's in-depth Style Collections. 
    You don’t need to memorize things.

You will quickly learn the Style names on the fly.

Remember:
    o The first issue is to find the 80% of Styles that you can use right away. 
            You can make the Styles better later.
    o Things like textstyles, blocks, linetypes and even Civil 3D label sizes are easy to change because 
            the Jump is built that way ByDesign 
    o If you are used to Land Desktop, you will probably need More Styles than you think you do.
            We manage presentation by Styles and Sets in Civil 3D.
             Try not to move labels around manually. You can, but it makes more work.
    o Plot your evaluation tests to DWFs - that Gets you Markup capability too

Evaluate

A Sheet Set that will plot to DWF and its included Sheets is included

Project dataset drawings that include in their name the number:
    10    Start drawing for exercises the we perform in Live and Recorded sessions
    20    More Complete drawings for you to see session results and test Label Styles and Label Sets
    30+  More Complete drawings with different design parameters to show More functionality

First

Open 20 More Complete drawings
Review Feature Styles - linetypes are easy to change later - color does not matter
Review basic Styles by changing Feature Label Sets - these may take minor Set property adjustments
Change View Styles where appropriate to review the different View Style possibilities

Second

Modify the Labels Sets to Review different Styles available in the Sets
Save New Label Sets that use your favorite choices in your best arrangements

Third

Open 10 drawings and employ the project data to produce new presentations using your perferred Sets and Styles
Try to idenify Features and Styles you will never use

Fourth

Identify the 10% of styles you must edit to meet your minimum requirements
